Discover «Los Cabos»
The wonderful tourist destinations of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, known as «The Capes» are located at the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California Sur.
During the last 15 years, Los Cabos has been transformed into one of Mexico’s most popular and recognized tourist destinations.
This is so due to the improvement of roads and air transport, in addition to the large investment of FONATUR (the government agency that is responsible for the development of new tourist destinations) and Mexican and foreign investors, hotel chains, and real estate developments.
Due to the separation and isolation of Mexico’s central area, the tourist industry of Los Cabos created closer ties with its neighbor across the border than with the rest of the country.
Despite this foreign characteristic, no one can deny the atmosphere of coastal destinations in Mexico.
Los Cabos is also unique for its spectacular desert landscapes, dry weather, and the virgin beauty of the surrounding nature.
Visitors can appreciate the endless Cactus Desert surrounded by miles of white sand beaches and crystal blue waters.
Los Cabos is one of Mexico’s largest tourist destinations in terms of its territorial distribution.
San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas are the anchors of the tourist destination.
The two towns are separated by an area known as the Corridor, an extension of 20 miles of wonderful beaches with a large part of the hotel development and championship golf courses.
