Guadalajara, the capital of Jalisco’s state it’s located in Atemajac’s Valley which in náhuatl means “place where the water bifurcate”, it’s a viceregal city where many of cultural Mexican’s symbols born (mariachi, handicrafts, tequila, etc) and its metropolitan zone is the second biggest urban agglomeration of Mexico after the capital.
Guadalajara offers you a big diversity of landscapes, cultural, educative, gastronomic, and commercial centers; it also has a big hostelry capacity with over 20 thousand of rooms. Guadalajara has an exquisite combination between flavors, colors and smells all of these in typical dishes which are a mix between the pre-Hispanic tradition and the colonial tradition; some of these amazing plates are pozole, jericallas, tejuino, etc.
